Rebecca Correia
Owner & Instructor —I discovered GYROTONIC® when I was 14 years old as a way to cross-train for ballet, and it quickly became a huge part of keeping my body healthy and relatively injury-free throughout my dance career.
At 18, I became a teacher thinking it would simply be a job between dance contracts, but over time I completely fell in love with teaching. Watching people become stronger, more mobile, and more balanced through movement is endlessly rewarding to me.
That passion eventually turned into a full-blown obsession with studying the body and different movement modalities. I’m constantly learning and exploring new ways to help people move better, feel stronger, and connect more deeply to their bodies. I am certified in GYROTONIC®, GYROKINESIS®, Garuda Apparatus, and COREALIGN®, and am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
In my 20 years of experience, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients and have specialized training working with dancers, athletes, clients with osteoporosis/osteopenia, and pre/postnatal clients. I love tailoring each session to the individual in front of me.
I also hold a BS in Business Administration from the University of San Diego, which has helped shape the way I approach building a thoughtful, welcoming, and highly personalized studio environment at Étude 72.

Jen Edwards
Teaching Partner — After 25 years as a professional dancer and no longer able to do the splits wearing high heels, it was time for a new chapter. Movement and teaching have always been my wheelhouse, so I turned to Pilates, took a deeper dive into anatomy, kinesiology, and all forms of movement. Guiding clients to discover their physical potential makes my heart sing.
I have BS in Dance from the University of Oregon and AS in Interpreting for the Deaf. I am certified in STOTT PILATES®, GYROTONIC®, COREALIGN®, NASM Certified Personal Trainer with specialized training in osteoporosis, neurological conditions, post-rehab breast cancer, and rotational sports.

RJ Carrier Duquette
Teaching Partner — I am a former software engineer turned dancer, originally from New Baltimore, MI. I discovered dance after moving to Seattle, WA, where I also found his way to Pilates and the GYROTONIC® Method. Following a car accident in 2023, I turned to these practices, alongside the guidance of medical professionals, to help heal my spine and neck. This combination of movement and mindful practice has transformed my quality of life and deepened the joy I feel each day. It's this joy that I hope to share and foster in every person I have the privilege of working with.
I have a BS in Computer Science and Cognitive Science with Minors in Music and Multidisciplinary Design from the The University of Michigan. I am certified in STOTT PILATES®, GYROTONIC®, Neuro Performance Training, and The Foot Collective Guide to Training.

Abigail Mentzer
Teaching Partner — I became a certified GYROTONIC® trainer after a long career as a professional ballerina. While I’m incredibly grateful for my years as a dancer, the physical demands of that career left their mark on my body. The GYROTONIC® Method played a huge role in helping me dance for as long as I did, and it continues to help me move freely and without pain today. Sharing this work with others feels deeply meaningful to me, and I’m passionate about helping people of all ages and athletic backgrounds build strength, resilience, longevity, and a deeper connection to their bodies.
Having studied GYROTONIC® since childhood, I bring a lifelong understanding of the method into my teaching. My approach is intuitive, thoughtful, and rooted in the belief that movement can be both therapeutic and transformative. I have specialized training focused on the pelvic girdle and psoas, with an emphasis on posture, mobility, and nervous system regulation.
I also have extensive experience working with dancers, performers, and movement professionals to improve performance, prevent injury, and create more ease and efficiency in the body. I strive to create sessions that feel grounding, intelligent, and meditative, helping clients move with greater freedom, awareness, and confidence.

Sevin Ceviker
Teaching Partner —I started my movement journey as a classical ballet dancer in Istanbul, performing professionally at the Istanbul State Opera House before moving to New York City. After years with the Martha Graham Dance Company, I began searching for a practice that could support my body’s recovery and longevity after a demanding performance career.
GYROTONIC® found me at exactly the right moment. It spoke the same language as dance, but offered something deeper: a way of moving that feels both liberating and grounding, expansive and deeply restorative. I’ve never looked back.
Today, my teaching blends artistry, athleticism, and a deep respect for the body’s natural intelligence. I aim to create sessions that help clients feel stronger, more connected, and more at ease within themselves. My approach is thoughtful, breath-centered, and highly individualized, meeting each person exactly where they are.
I work with a wide range of clients, from dancers and athletes to prenatal and postnatal clients, older adults, and those recovering from injury or looking to improve overall function and mobility. My specialties include spinal health, nervous system regulation, movement for dancers and performing artists, accessible movement for all bodies, osteoporosis and osteopenia support through GYROTONIC® and strength training, functional training, psoas-focused work, trunk stabilization and core integration, conditioning for runners, and breathwork-based movement practices that support both physical and emotional wellbeing.

Maura Mackin
Teaching Partner — I was first introduced to the GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods while training at The Ailey School and later at San Francisco Gyrotonic during the LINES Ballet Summer Program. As a professional dancer, these methods became an essential part of my cross-training, injury prevention, recovery, and longevity throughout my dance career.
What immediately resonated with me was the combination of strength, fluidity, precision, and mindfulness. The work helped me better understand my body, move more efficiently, and build resilience without sacrificing freedom of movement, and that experience continues to shape the way I teach today.
I am certified in GYROTONIC® and Pilates, with additional experience in strength training. My approach blends multiple movement modalities to create personalized sessions tailored to each client’s goals, anatomy, and movement patterns.
I have experience working with professional dancers, clients with scoliosis, osteoporosis, and mobility restrictions, as well as those looking to improve strength, mobility, alignment, and overall body awareness. My goal is to help clients move with greater ease, confidence, and connection through thoughtful and supportive instruction.

Bonnie Wright
Teaching Partner — I discovered the GYROTONIC® method after a dance injury led to hip surgery, at a time when I was searching for a way to heal while still staying connected to movement. What began as rehabilitation quickly became transformative. The method not only supported my physical recovery, but also rebuilt strength, confidence, and freedom in my body in a way that allowed me to return to dancing with greater awareness, intelligence, and resilience. That experience continues to shape the way I teach today.
I am a certified GYROTONIC® trainer and have been teaching the method for over a decade. Over the years, I’ve developed a highly hands-on, intuitive approach. Through years of personal training work and injury recovery of my own, I’ve picked up a wide range of practical “tips and tricks” for helping the body release tension, restore mobility, and move with greater ease.
I’m especially skilled at stretching, opening the body, and helping clients access areas of tightness or restriction in a safe and effective way. My work is rooted in helping people build strength from the inside out while also creating space, freedom, and balance throughout the body.
Above all, I’m passionate about helping clients through intelligent, supportive movement. My goal is always to create sessions that feel both therapeutic and empowering, meeting each person exactly where they are.
